Pilates
This practice is centered around 6 principles: Breath, concentration, centering, control, precision and flow. Pilates requires the body to work synergistically and fluidly through postures. It is low impact and great for all ages and conditions. With its focus on creating healthy movement patterns and balancing one’s muscular system, Pilates is also a great supplement to any athlete’s training program to assist with injury prevention and enhance performance.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY...
My husband and I have been doing Pilates with Sarah for 4 years and we are so happy to have found her! I personally feel physically stronger and more flexible than I did in my 30's and 40's. Almost 60, I'm able to lift a 50 lb bag when traveling; I have more stamina, and I love getting on the floor to play with my grandchildren! Sarah is knowledgeable in injury prevention and recovery. She's helped me improve chronic neck and hip pain with simple strategies. She is positive, punctual and professional. We recommend her highly!

This is the first year in many years that I will play golf year-round thanks to Sarah's excellence as a Pilates instructor. Before I started working with Sarah, I was only able to get through a 6-month golf season because of the tight muscles in my hips, shoulders and back... The stretches, exercises and balance work have improved my flexibility, strength and balance during my swing sequence resulting in a longer ball flight. And what golfer wouldn't like that!

I have been taking Pilates with Sarah for over 3 years and I love it! I am 65 years old so keeping my strength, improving my balance and keeping pain free while I do my favorite activities (golf, hiking and pickleball) was my motivation for starting Pilates. Sarah has helped me do this and more! My posture has improved and my body awareness is much better. She customizes the workouts perfectly, taking into consideration my unique weaknesses, strengths and needs.

Sarah is as good as it gets. A simple recommendation does not do service for what she has done for my physical well-being. As an ex-athlete I am someone who values adding and learning to my fitness repertoire. They used to say that the secret to Jerry Rice's lengthy career in the NFL was due to him working with a Pilates and mobility specialist and I can confirm to the benefit that having someone like Sarah in your corner and working with her will not only add value to your life, but will help you perform better in all aspects. She has this special way about her in that she makes you want to continue because her progressions are endless. I hired Sarah with the intention of seeing how this would add value to my life and now I realize that if I don't have this in my life, it is not complete.
